Ganesh Visarjan is the final day of the Ganesh celebration, and in Mumbai, Girgaon Beach, also known as Girgaon Chowpatty, experiences this event in all its splendor and grandeur. The beach is well-known for its Ganesh Visarjan festivities, during which lakhs of people from all over Mumbai gather to immerse Lord Ganesh’s idols in the sea. Major road diversions and road closures are in place to accommodate the large crowds.

Ganpati Visarjan is a widely celebrated occasion in Mumbai, and the entire city comes together to celebrate this event with great enthusiasm. The streets are decorated with lights, and the air is filled with the sound of drums and trumpets. Devotees gather in large processions, carrying the idols to the sea accompanied by music, dancing, and chanting of ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya, Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar Ya’
